Welcome to Matthew Todd's laboratory at the The University of Sydney. We are a part of the School of Chemistry.
Our cryptic research group motto is: to synthesise the right molecule in the right place at the right time.
We carry out research in organic synthetic methodology, asymmetric catalysis, physical organic chemistry, and in various cross-disciplinary areas such as coordination chemistry, bio-organic chemistry, drug discovery and optics.
Check out what's keeping us busy by looking at the descriptions of group members, or our list of recent publications.
Check out who's talking about us.
Check out what we're reading.

STUDENTS: If you're a student being taught by Mat, you may want the Teaching Page (link on left of this page). If you just want to sit back and talk about organic chemistry, you can send him a tweet, leave a message on facebook, or try out his very cool teaching room where you can ask questions and share content with others.
